VYASA-LA is inspired by these simple yet powerful words of Swami Vivekananda. We strive to take the vision of the great master for humankind forward, with the clear objective of:

• Making readily available the benefits of Yoga to everyone.
• Making Yoga a socially relevant science, by focusing on research using contemporary scientific methods.

Toward this end, our activities include:

• The conduct of seminars and workshops on special Yoga techniques.
• Lectures on the philosophy of Yoga.
• Demonstrations and lectures on yogic wellness programs for groups and individuals on a regular basis.

• Workshops in different parts of Southern California based on our unique SMET or Self-Management of Excessive Tension.
• Workshops on Yoga and Mantras.
• Weeklong workshops on Personality Development for adults and seniors.
• Lectures on ‘Evidence based Yoga for Positive Health’ at various locations around Southern California.
