Vivekananda Yoga University

Happily, the seeds for this unique online university were sown at VYASA-LA during visits by Dr. H.R. Nagendra to Southern California. Led by him, several people affiliated with the California chapter actively networked, met, discussed, and explored its setting up.

Academic structure, financial involvement and optimal delivery to students were drawn up and finalized with the help of VYASA-LA volunteers.

Today, from Los Angeles, VaYU has on its board of trustees, Bhikhubhai Patel and Babulal Gandhi. On the academic front, in addition to the experienced faculty from SVYASA are provost Dr. Srinivasa Reddy and faculty member Dr. VijayaKavuri. Other members continue to actively volunteer their services to the functioning of the university.
